Yacht charter terms and conditions

You can make a reservation by phone at +48 786041142 (call charges according to your operator’s rates) or by email (contact form available on each yacht’s page).

At least one crew member must hold a sailing license (for sailboats) or a motorboat skipper license (for motorboats), as well as a valid ID, which must be presented when picking up the yacht.

If you do not have the required qualifications, you can hire a skipper from us at 200 PLN/day + meals, or charter a houseboat which does not require a license.

Please note: chartering with pets must be arranged in advance with the Shipowner.

Payment and deposit:

A 50% deposit must be paid within 7 days of placing the order (yacht reservation).

The contract is considered concluded upon receipt of the deposit in our account.

Please transfer the 50% prepayment to our account with the REFERENCE (CHARTER DATE — YACHT TYPE).

The remaining amount (50%) + mandatory cleaning fee + mandatory deposit are payable at the time of yacht handover.

What is the deposit — a cash amount paid before the charter to cover potential damages. The primary function of the deposit is to secure the Shipowner’s claims for any damages caused by the charterer during the charter period. The charterer is liable for losses on the yacht only up to this amount; if the damage exceeds the deposit, the full deposit is retained by the Shipowner, and the remaining losses are covered by the yacht’s insurance. Additionally, the deposit serves to secure claims for any unpaid fees independent of the Shipowner, meaning any outstanding fees along the Great Masurian Lakes waterway. If there are no claims from the Shipowner — i.e., the yacht is returned in undamaged condition — the deposit is refunded in full.

If the deposit is not received within 7 days, the yacht may be rented to another crew.

Yacht handover:

Yachts are handed over at the home port “STRANDA” or at any other port by prior arrangement. Unless otherwise agreed, yachts are handed over on Saturday from 14:00 at the earliest. During handover, a rental agreement is signed which specifies the presented terms. Yachts must be returned on the last day of the charter before 11:00. If the yacht requires additional cleaning (laundry, blood, disinfection), an additional fee of 600 PLN is charged.

One Way service:

The One Way service is a one-way cruise to any port of your choice along the Great Masurian Lakes route. This means you don’t have to split your cruise into two parts: there and back! Simply plan in advance which port you would like to return the yacht at. Our staff will deliver your cars to the chosen location. The price of this service is arranged individually and depends on various factors; typically, it is the price of one day’s charter + yacht fuel.
